What about Compliance issues with the FTC and the TCPA?
Calls 2 Me is totally FCC and TCPA compliant because your pre-recorded message goes directly into voicemail without ringing the phone. So it is not bothering the person by constant ringing, nor are there any costs to the recipient because it does not use any airtime.
Is this considered a Robo call?
No, this is not a robo call. A robo call actually rings the phone, and when the person answers, the robo call plays a pre-recorded message. That means that a robo call is an interruption for the user, as well as consuming their airtime minutes. This is bad. Calls 2 Me does not ring the phone, does not interrupt the user, and does not consume airtime minutes. That is why Calls 2 Me is compliant with FCC and TCPA regulations.
